Affiliate disclosure

Some of the links on Email Dive are affiliate links. This page explains what that means, how it works, and why it does not change the way we write, test, or rank any software.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a tracking link that tells a software company you came from Email Dive. When you click one of these links and go on to purchase a subscription or a plan, we earn a small referral commission from that software company.
The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone directly to the software company’s website. In many cases, it is actually lower, because we regularly negotiate exclusive discounts for our readers through our affiliate partnerships.
How this funds Email Dive
Running this blog takes real time. Testing email marketing software thoroughly, writing honest reviews, keeping pricing and features updated, building custom quizzes… none of that is quick work. Affiliate commissions are the primary way Email Dive earns revenue, which funds all of the testing, writing, and updating that goes into every article on this site.
No subscriptions. No paywalls. No ads cluttering the reading experience. Just a small commission when you find a tool you love and decide to buy it.
What this does NOT mean
We do not rank software based on commission rates. A tool that pays a higher commission does not get a better rating, a more favorable review, or a higher spot in our best-of lists. A tool that pays nothing gets the same fair treatment as one that pays well, as long as it earns its place through quality.
We do not accept money from software companies to feature them above others in our listicles. If a software appears as a paid placement, it is clearly labeled as a sponsored ad, and it does not influence our organic rankings in any way.
The opinions in our articles are our own. They come from direct, hands-on testing, not from what companies tell us about their own products.
Honest about the model, honest about the software
We think being transparent about how we make money is the right thing to do. If you know we earn a commission, you can factor that into how you read our content. That is a fair arrangement.
But here is the thing: a recommendation only earns a commission if it earns your trust first. If we point you toward software that does not fit your needs, you do not buy it. If you buy it and regret it, you do not come back. The entire model only works if our recommendations are genuinely good.
That is why we test every tool before writing about it. That is why we call out weaknesses alongside strengths. And that is why we would rather tell you a tool is not right for you than nudge you toward a purchase that does not serve your needs.
