Best free email signature generator

Type your stuff in, and a mock email fills in as you go, so you see the signature where it’ll actually live. When it looks right, hit Copy signature and paste it into Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail.
What this email signature generator does
Email Dive’s free email signature generator turns your name, contact details, photo, and social links into an HTML email signature you can paste into Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, and most other email apps. It runs in your browser, it costs nothing, and nothing you type gets sent to us.
It also handles a bunch of small, annoying stuff for you:
- Lazy URLs. Type emaildive.com instead of https://emaildive.com, and it fills in the rest. Then it hides the https:// in the signature, because nobody needs to read that.
- Booking links. Your Calendly or Cal.com link shows up as “Book a meeting” instead of a long URL with your name and a random string in it.
- Clickable everything. Your email address, website, and social profiles all turn into real links.
- One accent color, everywhere. Pick a color and your name, your links, and your icons all switch to it.
It also remembers you. Your details save in your browser as you type, so you can close the tab, come back tomorrow, and pick up where you left off. Hit Reset when you want a clean slate.

Is it really free? What’s the catch?
Yes, it’s free, and there’s no catch waiting for you at the end. No trial, no premium templates, no watermark, and no form asking for your work email before you’re allowed to copy anything.
Here’s the honest reason it exists. Email Dive reviews email marketing and sales software, and when you buy something through some of our links, we earn a commission. That’s how the site pays for itself. This tool isn’t that. There’s nothing to buy here and nothing we earn from it.
It’s here because everybody who reads this site needs a signature, and a lot of free signature generators either want your email address first or slip a little “Created with” badge into your signature. Which turns you into a tiny billboard for them, forever, in every email. No thanks.
If you like the tool, maybe you’ll read one of our reviews someday. If you don’t, you still got a signature. That’s the whole deal.
When a paid email signature tool makes sense
If it’s just you, or a handful of people who can each spend two minutes here, you don’t need to pay for anything. Seriously.
Paid tools start earning their price when you have a team. Somewhere past ten people, someone has to make sure every signature matches, has the right title, and got updated when the office moved. Doing that by Slack message is miserable. Tools like Exclaimer, CodeTwo, and WiseStamp manage signatures from one place, so one person changes the template and everybody’s signature follows.
